Individual psychotherapy in New York

"I believe that a different therapy must be constructed for each patient because each has a unique story." – Irvin D. Yalom

Does it feel like you’ve achieved career success but struggle in relationships outside of work?

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about where to go next? Life can throw challenges at you, whether it's stress, anxiety, a tough family situation, the beginning or end to a romantic relationship or dealing with big transitions like moving to a new city or starting a new career. Maybe you’re struggling to balance your professional life with your well-being or feeling disconnected from your sense of purpose. Therapy is a space to explore these feelings, gain insight, and build the tools you need to feel more grounded, confident and in control of your life.

Hi, I’m Arielle.

Choosing the right therapist is a personal choice. Here are a few things to help you decide if we're a good fit:

I’m here to listen & support your story, but I will interrupt - keeping our conversation focused and on track.

I’m an active participant & will be direct, asking questions and giving feedback to work through things together.

There’s no such thing as TMI in therapy —I’m here for it & can handle it. No judgment, just support (promise!).

Helping individuals embrace their most authentic selves.

  • Anxiety and depression can make everyday life feel harder than it should be. We’ll work together to better understand what’s behind your symptoms to create a path forward so you can feel more in control, calmer, and more connected to the things that matter most to you.

  • Are you looking to develop healthier communication skills and emotional awareness to improve your connections with others? Are you looking to build a stronger relationship with yourself? Individual therapy can help foster insight, self awareness, compassion and personal growth that can positively impact all your relationships.

  • Whether you’re a nurse, PA, doctor, PT/OT or tech, the emotional weight of caring for others can take a significant toll on your mental health and often leads to burnout, caregiver fatigue and stress. When you’re used to putting the needs of others ahead of your own, it’s hard to find balance. But you can’t fill from an empty cup! I aim to create space to talk through the unique pressures of your work, identify & build healthy coping strategies so you can take care of yourself while continuing to do the incredible work you do. You deserve the same care and attention you give to others.

  • Whether you’re recovering from an injury, adjusting to life after retirement, or navigating a shift in your role on the team, the changes can be tough. I specialize in working with athletes—current and former—who are facing these challenges. Together, we’ll process the loss of that team identity, cope with the frustration of injury or transition, and help you rediscover new goals and purpose. It’s about finding your strength again, both as an individual and as part of a team, even if that team looks different now.

Something has you feeling stuck.
